Appraveo Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 7, 2026 Last Updated: April 7, 2026 Governing Law: State of Maryland, United States

1. Introduction

Appraveo, LLC ("Appraveo," "we," "us," or "our") is a software-as-a-service platform located in Ocean City, Maryland, operated by Wolff Creative. Appraveo provides products and services — including NarrativeAI, Academy, Intel, Sites, Check, and CRM — exclusively to licensed real estate appraisers operating in the United States.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information when you access or use valuwolf.com and any Appraveo product ("Services"). It also describes your rights regarding that information.

By creating an account or using any Appraveo Service, you acknowledge you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1.1 Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)

Real-estate appraisers may be treated as covered financial institutions under the FTC Privacy Rule (implementing the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act). Appraveo's data handling practices — including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and data minimization — are designed to support appraisers' GLBA obligations. Appraveo does not independently determine an appraiser's regulatory status under GLBA.

2. Who This Policy Applies To

Appraveo Services are intended solely for licensed real estate appraisers in the United States. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18.

3. Information We Collect

3.2 Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI DSS-compliant payment processor. Appraveo does not store credit card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account details on our servers.

3.3 Product-Specific Usage Data

The information you submit varies by product. NarrativeAI does not require, and you should not input, USPAP (2024 Edition, effective January 1, 2024, open-ended)-confidential information. See Section 6 for the full USPAP 2024 Edition Confidentiality Warning.

5. AI and Machine Learning

5.1 How AI Features Work

NarrativeAI uses large language model APIs provided by third-party AI providers to generate draft narrative content. When you submit a prompt or property data, that input is transmitted to the AI provider's API for processing and the response is returned to you.

5.2 Your Data Is Not Used to Train Third-Party Models

Appraveo will not use your input data to train third-party AI models without your explicit, affirmative opt-in consent. Our agreements with AI API providers prohibit those providers from using API-submitted data to train their foundation models.

5.3 Aggregate Usage Patterns

Appraveo may use aggregate, de-identified usage patterns to improve our platform features and develop new capabilities. This data cannot reasonably be used to identify any individual appraiser.

5.4 Appraiser Authorship

Appraiser-authored content — including any edits, modifications, additions, or final report text derived from Appraveo output — belongs to the appraiser. Appraveo does not claim any ownership or intellectual property rights in the content of appraisal reports you produce using our tools.

6. USPAP 2024 Edition Confidentiality Warning

This section is specifically directed to licensed real estate appraisers using Appraveo Services.

The USPAP 2024 Edition Ethics Rule — Confidentiality section — prohibits appraisers from disclosing confidential assignment information without client permission.

Appraveo instructs all users: do not input USPAP 2024 Edition-confidential information into any Appraveo product, including NarrativeAI, Check, Intel, or CRM, unless you have obtained your client's written authorization.

Specifically, you should not enter into NarrativeAI or Check:

Appraveo is not responsible for any USPAP 2024 Edition violation, license sanction, or professional discipline resulting from information you choose to input into the platform.

7. Data Sharing

Appraveo does not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or share your personal information with AMCs, lenders, GSEs, government agencies, or data brokers for their own commercial purposes.
